This morning in Oklahoma

I sat in a spiderweb
Holding my coffee and unaware
A bright silver campsite floating up
All tentlines no tent and no stakes
I sat by the succulents
Full of their own thoughts
Holding their peace
This morning it was cold in the shade
But the sun felt good on my legs
I thought about us
How our houses are like tents
How our peace is not held
How the sun feels nice on our legs
